چکیده
Proteins and peptides, built from precisely defined amino acid sequences, are an important class of biomolecules that play a vital role in most biological functions. Preparation nanostructures through functionalization natural, hydrophilic proteins/peptides with synthetic polymers or upon self-assembly all-synthetic amphiphilic copolypept(o)ides acid-containing enables access to novel protein-mimicking biomaterials superior physicochemical properties immense biorelevant scope. In recent years, polymerization-induced (PISA) has been established as efficient versatile alternative method existing procedures for the reproducible development block copolymer nano-objects situ at high concentrations and, thus, provides ideal platform engineering protein-inspired nanomaterials. this review article, different strategies employed direct construction protein-, (poly)peptide-, acid-based via PISA described particular focus on characteristics developed assemblies, well their utilization various pharmaceutical biomedical applications.

Conjugated polymer/silica nanocomposites with hexagonal, cubic, or lamellar mesoscopic order were synthesized by self-assembly using polymerizable amphiphilic diacetylene molecules as both structure-directing agents and monomers. The self-assembly procedure is rapid and incorporates the organic monomers uniformly within a highly ordered, inorganic environment. By tailoring the size of the oligo...
